Standard room

The Standard room at a glance

At 15 square metres the Standard room is close to twice the size of our Budget room, and the difference tells most when you stay more than a night or two. There is space to leave a suitcase open, to get ready without stepping around each other, and to spend an evening in the room rather than only sleeping in it.

The bed is a king size, 180 × 200 centimetres – twenty centimetres wider than in the Budget room, which is what decides it for two people. The room has its own bathroom with a rain shower, a smart TV, a safe, free Wi-Fi and USB charging points where you actually need them.

What it costs

The Standard room starts at €99.00 per night, twenty euros above the Budget room. Breakfast is €15.00 per person and a space in the parking garage €18.00 per day; neither is included in the rate. The booking form above shows the price for your dates.

When the extra space pays off

From the second or third night onwards, on trips with a lot of luggage, and whenever you plan to work in your room. For a single night in transit the Budget room at 9 m² is usually enough – the fittings are identical, only the floor area is smaller. Both are set side by side on the rooms overview.

Arrival and departure

Arrive from 15:00, leave by 11:00. A day before you travel – 24 hours before arrival, to be exact – we email you an invitation to check in online. You fill it in at your leisure and receive an access code that opens every door, so there are no reception hours to plan around.

Around the room

Breakfast is in Kibbel’s Kitchen, 6:30 to 10:00 on weekdays and 7:00 to 11:00 at weekends; drinks and snacks are in the lobby around the clock. Outside the door is Altona-Altstadt, with Königstraße station four minutes away and direct trains to the airport, the main station and Altona – see the directions page.
